After I sold my Gr8 charade, I bought this

Its a 89 Model Corolla and quota 94.

There is bit of work required interms of looks because this was driven by a office going Uncle so he didnt give too attention to looks :p

I know this car from the day it was registered its been with in one or more of our family friends.

5 Years ago it was a amazingly new but now needs some work.

After some cleaning see the dashboard pics

The meter got Oil pressure and Voltage guage as well.

Thanks everyone

Ok on these last 3 holidays this is what i did.

1 - All shocks were taken out and weak ones were repaired with excelent quality of work.

2- Timing belt was in very bad condition i dont know how he was driving so that was replaced.

3- All spark plugs were in bad condition installed new plus that comes in TTC engines.

4 - OIL Was changed with Air filter

5 - Tappet and tunning.

6 - Heater.

7 - The car had old type cng switch with just 1 light so replaced that with newer kind with 4 indicator lights

8 - Gas was riffilled in the engine bay area so moved that to fuel refill area.

9 - Car's original central locking was not working so got that repaired.

10 - Power windows switch on drivers side had few buttons not working so that was repaired.

11 - Washer bottle was leaked so that was taken care of.

12 - Both front and rear alignment done.

13 - Rear lights were cleaned with new bulbs.

thats all for now

Car is driveable now :p.

Next week i have plans for some more work and after completion of the technical side i will get the look of this car restored.

Yesterday got all locks repaired, before you could use any key to open up the lock so that is taken care of

More Work.

1 - Radiator cleaned

2- Thermostate installed

3 - Big radiator fan installed.

4 - Whole power steering asembly replaced. the old one was leaking as well as noisy on bad road.

5 - Head lights cleaned.

6 - Carpet and seats cleaned

7 - The Brake and clutch padel were too lose they were fixed.

8 - Gear oil changed with Caltex

9 - All axle boots replaced with new grease

few more things left the brakes needs to be adjusted and i feel one of the seal in the engine is leaking that will be repaired as well.
