I bought in November 2012, at that time there was no wait , got the car on same day. I think right now there is also no delay for Honda City.

DOnt know whether these options are available in Swift JDM model??
Congrats Bro I am also owner of Swift DX for the last one year drove around 15000 km and completely satisfied with its performance

    Few tips

    • I reckon drive with low RPM first 1000 Km
    • Don't use too much reserve fuel i mean top up fuel once reserve light on
    • Clean air filter every 400 km
    • Clean AC filter every 1000 km
    • Plug service every 10,000 km interval use genuine plugs from Suzuki for replacement
    • Engine Oil you should be very careful use synthetic 5w 30 or 10w 40 from (Shell HX7 or Caltex) only
    • Oil filter genuine from Suzuki (APV,Gemini,Swift) all of them can be installed
    • Check Battery water every 3000 km
    • No brakes service unless needed never open brake pads before 30,000 km even if Suzuki guy asked you
    • Clean engine with petrol + surf mixture (No water) on alternative wash
    • Change 1st engine and gear oil at 3000 km then gear oil after every 30000 km and engine oil every 4500 km
    • No need to clean throttle before 25000 km
    • Never install mud flaps
    • You'll hear minor sounds from door, dash and back side mirror please ignore
    • Use fuel from Total or Shell
    • Never install CNG

80-90 % parts in swift are Japanese so you'll probably notice indicator like SRS airbag e.t.c on dashboard

    Thanks

Thanks Brother for ur valuable suggestions. Yes i start with very light foot and change from first to 2nd gear at 1000 RPM and then at 2000-2300 RPM and max speed at 60-70 KPH in 4th gear and avoid using 5th gear. As told by u i usually hear those sounds from dash board. I will follow ur suggestions Inshallah. No plans of installing mud flaps and CNG.

Only thing i dont understand why these Suzuki people dont change the engine & gear oil at 1000 KM first inspection. I remember when i bought Cultus in April 2010 on 1000 KMs inspection they changed the gear oil, used Zic transmission oil (2 red bottles packing) and engine oil ZIC-A (blue bottle 4 litres 10/40 W) and poured 3.5 litres of 4 litres as Cultus engine capacity is 3.5 litres. After that iam using the same engine oil and change it after 5000 Kms and changed gear oil at 40000 kms and 80000 kms.

I think not changing engine oil and gear oil at 1000 Kms must be damaging for engine and transmission. What u think so ???

Got its tank full on 8th February 2013 for Rs 3,900 approx 38 litres from Shell Petrol Pump near Defence Ministry at Rawalpindi. Then i reset the trip A meter to zero. On 16th February 2013 i got its tank full again for Rs 2,500 (24.19) litres and on trip A meter reading was 340 Kms. Its consumption is then 14.05 Kms per litre. Want to know from other pakwheelers who own Swift whether its consumption is fine or not. My Swift is just driven 600 Kms in total.

Thanks Sir. The seat covers costed me Rs 3,000 and its design lining totally matches the original seat fabric design and lining at side doors.

    Hi Usman,

Can you direct me to the place from where you got your seat covers done. If possible please point the location on Google maps, and share the name of the shop.

    Thanks,
