My dad will rebuild the ecu as he is an EE. Parts will be ordered soon from digi-key US. I was already aware of the the capacitors failing.
You're correct, this was an embassy cleared car. It was imported by the UN and was then sold to the Egyptian Embassy. They then sold it to a dentist who had this car since 2013. His clinic is in blue area, probably that's where you saw this car. He had this car put up for sale for the past 2 years, went to various dealers but I think people ran away by hearing the engine is 4000cc. The air suspension was replaced to standard coilovers. One side leaked so the embassy changed all four corners.
We got this car as we knew its worth, grace, quality, performance and comfort. Our first car, a 92 Cressida, was bought in 2001 from the Belgium Embassy. That was our first car, now this is the second. Still have the Cressida. This Celsior has come with the cry for under the body maintenance. I've already got the brakes, spark plugs and air filter done. Next up is new struts and a transmission fluid change. Me and my father are tackling the electrical problems and resolving them one by one.
