and the brake discs too - they become literally twisted out of shape.. To some people like us Pakistanis up in Murree they look cute (I think its the lack of oxygen in the air that shuts their brains off)
nice advices everyone, When I was in Lake district in my SAAB 900 (auto) it pays to have it in either 2 or even L - as you can use the engine braking to its full on a downslope and it wont shift up on an upclimb..
Driving in Lake district getting to Lake Windermere entering from the Lothians in Scotland is like Muree times 3 then some rollercoaster drive.. Really Really tests your nerve and the cars performance.. And damn sure - the SAAB had come alive in this place, cornering like it was on rails and a good solid controlled punch of power when you need to climb a hill.
