When I press the brake pedal, sometimes I feel there is no pressure in pedal and you can't feel you are pressing something. Usually it is hard and when you press it you do feel it so you can apply force based on your needs. In my case as it has very low pressure sometime so I can't feel it and control how much should I press the pedal to apply the brake. This results in unwanted intense brake sometime. It doesn't require pressing the pedal to floor to apply brake and response of the brake in normal and low pressure is good. I have changed the brake pads and shoes a few months back.
In addition to above I am also hearing a sound like "ssss" at start whenever I press the brake pedal. When engine is turned off and I try to pump the pedal in 1-2 attempts it becomes rock hard.
I hope this information would be helpful to suggest a solution. After googling I can guess it could be either brake booster (servo) or the master cylinder issue. What the PakWheels experts suggest for this issue?
