Can you please let me know what is the price for the above mentioned brands ? Thanks for the quick response
Today I visited Corner Tyre Rawalpindi to have an idea about tyre prices of Khyber (165/70 R12). He was not in favour of Hankook. He said its an average tyre. He was more towards Silverstone, made in Malaysia that was for 4600 Rs a piece.Visited another shop and the shopkeeper was having two types of Hankook tyres. H706 and Optimo ME04, both in 165/70 R12 size.He said that ME04 is smuggled while H706 is imported properly. But he wasn't giving any type of warranty on any tyre by saying that imported tyres don't have warranty.
Brother hankook is being ranked in top 10 and Silverstone is not even in top 20.
Regarding warranty yes Hankook is not offerings any warranty in Pakistan.
And about design u can confirm it from khawaja auto 0300 9404307 on Monday.
im using hankook h706 in my alto size 165/70/12 and i am loving them tires grip is amazing in rain on long drives motorways car feels more planted then beforeeven when brakes are shot they work best to stopthey never skid never ever as its a soft compound tire one thing u gota take care of is air pressure regularly check them after 2 weeks and 30 psi all around i got them in march 2013 i had given 13k driven generals in exchange and paid 12000 on top that time 18500 was the price for set of 4 and don't even think about dunlop they suck same grip as generals best thing about them is that they never skid

I am still analyzing all the replies from the above posters there are some awesome inputs from awesome people & could not reach to a decision making point i would still wait for the more discussions from the genius people of this place and i hope it will beneficial to all the people like me who are not technical enough to buy such these parts
Brother, Could you please suggest that if i buy the 155 70 r12Hankook, Which Alloy rim size will go fine with this size ?
Thanks and best regards,
Nadeem
Brother r 12 mean 12 " rims.
Thanks for your reply...!!!
@khm42747 Brother i understand that r12 means 12" i just wanted to confirm that both rim and tyre size should be same or different
Width-wise you can have different size tyres on the same rim, like 165 and 155 can both be used on the same size rim but diameter wise both rim and tyre should be same. Like for 12 inch rim, only 12 inch tyre can be used.
Speedster Bro thank you very much for making this clear to me ...!!!
alto pakistani hai ya japani?
i would say as per my experience you should get yokohama. they have the best tires.
soft tires and grippy.
i got a 165 tire. yaaar model yad nai aa ra.
Soft aur grippy aurr long lasting.
name yaad nai aa raha but tread pattern yaad ker lo.
Kasmay bohoto chikna tire hai or get an A-Drive.
can you tell how the KUMHO tires will go with 175/70/13 (cultus) i have seen that at shops and they were looking pretty well
or select one among these
Hankook, Kumho, Zeetex, Michelin, Yokohama, Dunlop, Bridgestone
kumho are very rare now a daysmichelin come in 13 size rims and many rate them good have experience on a 96 civic 15s and are normal zeetex never seen themyokohama good tires but road noise on long routes is bit too muchdunlop had them in previous car ECO series very good in dry weather but useless like generals in rain Dunlop white lighters on alto they are hard compound grip is okish but ride is had bridgestone on a corolla not bad tires but expencieve Hankook used H706 used them on 2 cars best in rain and drive is soft just take care of air in them also if u have a cultus NEXEN tires are also good and NANKING tires are also great friend has it on his santro
YOKOHAMA S707 ! !! used 1st pair for 60k. the current ones have 45k on em! loved em so much bought em again!
Brother if u can afford Michelin xm2 then it will be a good otherwise hankook korea or ZEETEX are better than kumho and dunlop.
This is Yokohama S707. Used them in my Khyber for 4 years, done around 60,000 km.Disposed them off yesterday as they became bent/deformed. But 4 year is a long time, they were soft and had good grip.
