Hi
Any idea how much fuel an EXi Prosmatec Eagle Eye Civic consumes?
Hi! I had an EXi a couple of years ago. Pretty little car! I used to fill its tank with 40 liters of petrol and it used to consume all of it if I drove a lot. Hope that helps.
Hahaha. Dude, if you could tell me how many kilometers it did in a litre, that would be awesome!
Around 10-11 with soft foot
8 with AC City Driving...Normal foot...8.5-9.0 without AC
I have a very soft foot - mostly drive around the 2000 rpm mark - so I'm hoping to get around 10km/l. fingers crossed
8.....
How would u shift first 2 gears under 2 RPM.
You can feel the gear shift if you stay at 2000rpm for a while...it's the same with the 8th generation, I keep the tach at 2k for a few seconds and I feel the gear shift up, the tach drops slightly and then goes back up.
that is one bad car when it comes to fuel consumption
With a light foot it should give around 450km in a tank of 40 liters. I got upto 500 regularly but mine was a manual.
for me its a dream. im off by a 100km atleast
In comparison, I was driving a 2008 City Vario for the last few months with a light foot, and would get 12.5 KM/Litre with AC. 13.5 without.
If I can touch 9+ KM/Litre on the Civic, I would be REALLY happy!
Also, maybe traffic variations between Karachi and Lahore also contribute to the difference in opinion here.
My daily route between home and work is very very straight, with only a couple of signals over a 13km stretch (ferozepur road).
Anyway, fingers crossed!
Eagle eye is fuel guzzler but U can get an average mileage of 8-9, with soft foot.
8km for vti....9-10 on light footi achieved 10 on very light foot but thats pretty hard to keep it at or under 2k all the time esp on petrol
hahaha true thatmanual ones have some kind of magic system
Me too. some wild goose chase claims from Islamabad and Lahore members have often seen however. One member claimed 14.5 km/l.(A)
Brother I have a M/T EXi running on Rs. 5,500 LiquiMoly oil and 6,000 K&N air filter and it never gave above 9km/l even at 2,000 RPM and you have to witness Alto and Cultus leaving behind u in dust.
Brother for reference purposes I lost a bet from a friend who has a 2006 Vario and he claimed that his car will drink half petrol compare to my 2005 EXi Prosmatec.
