Last month while changing my seat covers, the worker found a cutter inside a rear seat. This cutter cause an injury to him. I was surprise and could not believe that a cutter was residing inside the rear seat.
Anyhow I took the snaps of cutter and his injured leg and emailed to different suzuki departments for investigation.
I got a call from Suzuki Head office Lahore and they send a team to my city for detailed inspection. At first they denied my claim that it seems impossible. I straight away told them I did not make up this story to get any attention. They brought out the rear seat and they also confirmed that the cutter was already there.
Now they asked me to get them to the local shop where this incident happened. Upon investigation, the worker also confirmed about this incident. To my surprise they gave him 5,000 rupees as compensation. They got me back to dealer office and gave me Suzuki Oil and Oil filter to be replace at 5000km oil change inspection. So I got a benefit of 3,000 rupees as well.
Although this compensation seem to little but in a country like Pakistan, this change is good sign. At least they responded and tried to solve the issue.
