@Majed
liposuction isn't that much a complicated procedure...but still all sort of things can go wrong thanks to the quackery of smaller institutions, they usually advertise "no need for anaesthesia" kind of BS, end up administering spinal anaeshtesia to the patient and when sometimes a complication occurs, they fail to correct it..
so as far as the concerns for the procedure are concerned, don't worry, its not a biggie, just go to a good set up..
having said that,...i would like to ask how much do you weigh? BMI?
what i would honestly advise for really obese patients is Laparascopic sleeve gastrectomy or laparascopic gastric bypass or even laparascpoic gastric banding...
look them up at the internet for more information... pros and cons..
but from my personal experience,..i have seen some drastic changes in patients lifestyles and morbidity...
i recently met a patient that i anaesthetised for the sleeve gastrectomy a while back and believe me i wasn't able to recognize him, he did recognize me and came up to meet...
he lost over 56 kgs in mere 5 months! he was something like 148 kgs when he came for surgery!
there is nothing like dietary control and exercise, but then again, there are some ( i repeat, some) patients that do require surgical help,...and among them i have seen/heard the best results for the procedures i mentioned rather than liposuction,...way better indeed...
its your body, your life, and your decision to make...
choose wisely...
contact me for further information if you wish.
thanks.
