    Default Best School in Lahore

One of my cousin residing in England back to Pakistan after 10 years. He wants to get his 7 year son get admitted at the best school in Lahore.

As I live in karachi, I don't much idea about Lahore schools though I recommended him International School of Choueifat because I have heard some very good reviews about this school.

Please share your experiences, on this issue.

I'm currently doing A-levels+HSD from Choueifat, and yes its one of the best schools in Lahore infact Pakistan!
It has a very huge campus which is all airconditioned. I would recommend this school as it improves your child's academics plus his confidence, his speaking skills, his goals of what he plans to pursue in his career. It really helps in building one's base knowledge, in finding the hidden talents inside you.
You should get him admitted in Choueifat, it's a great place to be in.

Heard from someone that in Choueifat you have to deposit fee in dollars, don't know if its true or not but for 2nd grade student it may be around 20-25K per month. You can get exact information from their admission office.

Choueifat is just a normal school like Beacon House/LACAS/LGS. They just charge you an arm and a leg in the name of education. If you are filthy rich, it might be the place for you but to me there is not much difference in international schools and local chains of school systems. They are all business oriented.

For a 5th grader or above I would personally recommend any boarding school like Aitchison/Sadiq Public/Chand Bagh over Choueifat. (it's purely my personal opinion.)

For a 2nd standard child best school is the nearest school to your residence. Cathedral/Convent/Crescent/DPS/Saint/Hail Mary/House of Education are also in the list of good schools.

LAS is for all the rich, spoilt, and arrogant kids of lahore. Want to ruin your child, send him there.

my cousins study in choiefat and their parents are very happy witht the place as it is of good standard and quality, though all kinds of children are in that school as well.

no school is free of bad influence, be it beacon, american schools, or any other.

personally speaking, any one who sends their children to local schools will ruin the child as all those schools have gone down the drain in all terms, so best are international private schools where a child can be polished and groomed very well.

there is LGS and a few other new places too

My nephew studies at ISC. Its the best school not only in Lahore but in Pakistan, if you can afford. But its worth. What they charges gives much more in return. Your child future is safe at ISC.

LAS is probably the worst elite class school I've ever seen. They charge you an arm and a leg, all in the name of being an Amreekun School.

Hear good things about Choueifat, and would be a good choice if your cousin has money to burn.

Don't know how things are with LGS but I've seen people from Crescent go on to become very successful in life and compete with the best in the world including grads of Ivy league institutions.

if money is not a problem than Choueifat and LAS (lahore american school) are the best options. both of these schools charge in US $.... lahore grammer (lgs) is the best school with the almost 9000 RS fee

Bro it depends on a couple of factors. First of all ask his parents about their preference. Whether they want him to do O/A levels in his future or they want him to go for High school diploma. Considering the fact that he is moving back from UK. Ill recommend him to go for O/A levels. And believe me O/A levels at choueifat sucks. O/A Levels is the best secondary education one can get. High School diploma is only good if you are targeting USA or Canada for higher studies. Where as the benefit of O/A levels is that you are not limited to USA or Canada.

Anyways, I did my O levels from beacon and for A levels i chose choueifat and THAT was the worst mistake of my life so far! So yeah, ill recommend you Lgs or Aitchison.

If his parents wants him to think out of the box, choueifat is not the place for him. Hope it helped
