its not that simple , plus , its a bit too early to pass judgement on this factor .
currently .
lets understand it this way .
zong has won 4g , so undisputedly they would be able to provide the hieghest speeds .
now this becomes meaningless if they do not deploy these speeds for the home user . and offer limited pakages for cellular use only .
zong currently have the lowest number of cell sites , so for them getting the 10 mhz frequency was a NEED rather than a win .
they would introduce 4g LTE or not , thats aanother big question and if they do ,
then again till what extent ?
so they might have won the BIG slot , but keeping in ming their low cellular stations . they might end on par with other operators , if they do not invest more to introduce LTE , or do more investments on cellular sites .
if they dont ... 4G licence is NO USE - and they will end up offering the same like others .
Mobilink , have a very good coverage , plus a 10mhz frequency .
but most of their consumer base is from rural areas .
but what position they have obtained , under the current infrastructure and the coverage of their competetion , would be able to provide the best 3g speeds , at a comparatively lower cost then their rivals .
so if they play smart , they can kill and regain their lost market by offering extremely competetive packages .
ufone and telenor .
now they have a dominance in the urban areas and most of their user base is from urban areas , they have extensive coverage and cellular sites in urban areas . so for them , 5 mhz frequency is MORE THAN ENOUGH .
they might not be able to offer 3.5g services without some further investments , but they already have a big chunk of 3g consumers in their pockets already .
so far .
1. zong need a lot more investment to actually UTILIZE what is has bought , or otherwise , it would just be doing as good as others
only if it invest sufficiently more , then only we would be able to see zong killing in terms of speed and packages its rivals .
Mobilink has acquired the best package , for its infrastructure . and it is currently in a position right away to offer the BEST packages . and better speeds then its rivals . now it only depends on how they do their math .
telenor and ufone , would be dominating with their urban user base ,
they might not be able to offer the best of speeds and the best of packages altogether , but they have a BIG BIG advantage of a lot of probable population already in their pockets , hence with only a little investment they can play BIGTIME .
bottom line .
for an immediate start , it would be mobilink in a position , to offer the best speeds . and the best prices . at CURENT GROUND FACTS
for the rest , they have some REAL SWOT analysis to do , in order to deliver and make the best out of what they have acquired .
right now , mobilink has got the best deal of all .
