Asslam-o-Alaikum:
We have a nasgas instant geyser installed in our bathroom, which went all bad last day as my little brother was having a bath, fumes of burning gas proved dangerous.
CO is odorless and you dont actually know that you are dying slowly. Thanks to Almighty Allah we managed to break the bathroom door and took him out in time. Luckily we live near CMH, so immediately shifted him to hospital. After almost 4 hours he was finally out of danger.
The purpose of this post is make others aware that instant geysers are not safe, iam hearing from many of my friends about such incident, many dont make it to live again. So either you should install instant geyser outside your bathroom, or should have a very good ventilation.
1. Geyser had an exhaust
2. It's -7 in Quetta, so good ventilation was not possible
3. We live in army bunglows, and those were installed by Army (MES) itself with mapping.
