CDA to stage ‘Bombay Dreams’ tomorrow

ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) is organising a stage play titled ‘Bombay Dreams’ to promote the soft image of the country.
Shah Sharabeel is the director of this play- a part of Margalla Festival- to be staged on Wednesday at the Islamabad Club Auditorium, said CDA sports and culture senior director Syed Mustafain Kazmi.
A press release highlighting the theme of the play said, “The story of the play revolves around an ambitious young guide, Aakash, who is brought up by his mother and lives in the slums. He fantasises about being a Bollywood star. The story unravels two Sikhs, Honey Singh and Money Singh, announce that they will build elite apartments on slum land.”
“A young lawyer, Vikram then arrives along with his fiancée Priya, and offers his services to save the slums. Priya, later offers Aakash a shot in Bollywood and takes him to Mumbai where he experiences a side of the city he had never imagined,” said the press release.
I liked the play a lot. Priya & Akash were great. What Energy this young lady had. Really impressed by the talent in Pakistan. I wish her a good luck !
Wanted to appreciate them in personal but they all were busy receiving them. You guys should watch it
