ISLAMABAD: Margalla police raided a massage centre in Sector F-8/3 of the capital and arrested six persons including four women, said the spokesman for police on Sunday.

A police team headed by Margalla police Station House Officer Hussain Lasi raided the massage centre established in a house in Street No 6, Sector F-8/3 and arrested a Chinese woman Youla, Rukhsana, Shabana, Sana, Bilal Khan and Bakhtiar Alam.

KARACHI: A pregnant woman was shot dead by her husband Sunday within the limits of Baloch Colony police station. Thirty-year-old woman Fauzia Amber, the mother of two children, was a resident of Street No 26, Manzoor Colony, where she was gunned down at around 11:30am. Around five hours after the murder, the victim’s husband Jamshed Khan, a police constable deputed in the Anti-Violent Crime Unit, arrived at the police station and informed the police about his wife’s death, claiming that she shot herself after a fight over a domestic dispute. The police found two empty shells and a bullet in a wall at the crime scene, and they became doubtful about the husband’s claim. Later, the body of the woman was shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre where doctors told the police that the deceased was shot from a foot’s range suggesting that she did not shoot herself. Later the police called the victim’s family, which told them that the Amber was left-handed. But, the victim was shot from the right side, raising further suspicions. SHO Haider Zaidi said preliminary investigations revealed that the victim’s husband had illicit relations with another married woman named Samina, the mother of three children and a resident of Delhi Colony, whose husband work in Saudi Arabia. The officer said Khan and wife frequently quarreled over the last three years over the husband’s relations with Samina, who also visited their house. The husband killed his wife with his official pistol following an argument, the officer said. The police have registered an FIR no 94/10 against Khan on the complaint of the deceased’s brother Ansar Ahmed Khan and took the accused into custody. The police also took the accused man’s fingerprints and sent them to the laboratory for further investigation.

The accused has been identified as Sarfraz Hussain, son of Babu Khan, who belongs to Gujrat district. The rapist, father of one little girl, was arrested with the help of the victim who guided the police to the place of the incident.

This is the first incident of its kind since Daewoo launched its service way back in the mid-90s. The apathy shown by the Daewoo van driver and the security guard accompanying the unfortunate girl to her house late night was said to have actually facilitated her kidnapping and subsequent rape as both men did not challenge the boys when the helpless girl was being dragged out the van in front of their eyes. According to investigation conducted by The News, a 20-year old matriculate girl (her name is being withheld as per the newspaper’s policy) had completed her night duty at around 12am (Sunday). As per routine, a gunman and a driver were dispatched to drop her at home. As their van left the Daewoo bus terminal, a car started chasing them. After travelling some distance, a young boy got out of his car and asked the driver to stop the van. The boy was holding a gun in his hand and he made the driver and the gunman sit quietly. He took the girl out of the van and made her sit in the car, which his friend was driving.

The van driver and the gunman instead of chasing the car reported the incident to the local police. A police party was dispatched to arrest the culprits but the police car met an accident in which some cops sustained injuries. Thus the two boys managed to escape along with the girl to their place and raped the girl the whole night.

In the morning, they threw the girl on the road from where she approached the police. She guided them to the place where the ugly incident took place. The girl informed the police her kidnappers had taken a turn to their house after crossing a small bridge and if she was taken to that bridge then she might help them locate the place.

The police party took her to the bridge and the girl finally managed to locate the exact place and soon they were standing in the house where she was raped. Many important clues were found from the scene of the crime, which led to immediate arrest of Safraz Hussain who runs a mobile phone shop in <st1:City w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Lahore</st1:place></st1:City>. The second accused, Irsahd Bhatti, was still at large and police were trying to arrest him.

During investigation Sarfraz Hussain revealed that while driving the car he challenged his drunken friend to kidnap the girl they had spotted in the Daewoo van. His friend accepted the challenge and kidnapped the girl at gunpoint. They took her to a house where they raped her.

Talking to The News, Sialkot Daewoo bus terminal chief Mr Aurangzeb confirmed the incident and said an FIR was lodged by the company against the culprits. But he refused to give any detail saying he would be in a position to say some thing about this case on Monday, as things were quite blurred right now. But it was clear from his reluctance to talk that Mr Aurangzeb was frightened and was told by his company bosses not to talk to the media or someone else.

DPO Sialkot Waqar Chohan, however, confirmed that two drunken friends kidnapped a girl at gunpoint. He said with the help of the girl his party managed to arrest one of the rapists and a case has been registered against them. He said the other culprit would be arrested soon.

DPO Waqar said the most unfortunate aspect of the incident was that the gunman did not even try to protect the girl. To a question Waqar said he would not accept any pressure from any side and the culprits would be brought to justice.

Pretty simple really, it keeps the wipers from being frozen onto the body of the car.

Trust me, its a pain in the back side to pry them off.

nahi samjha, only part touching the car is its blade to the winshield or its base bolted to knob, so that only makes sence that blade might freeze with windshield, right, what difference does it make to pour 0.5 liter of water over windshield to un-couple both, waise bhi windshield tu completely wipe karna hi hai before you set off

It does not matter what part is touching.

When the snow(covering the wiper arm,blade) turns into ice in the morning,you would have to pry them off with with an ice pick or something.

Being careless while doing so may damage the windshield.
