yup it maybe imported thru proper channel but it also depends a lot on how you drive your car.
I usually drive on motorways and so far my 5AFE corolla has done 150k with no issues on ZIC A+
Due to some peoples suggestion as ZIC grade was suddenly reduced to 5w-20 ,I switched to KIXX.
It was a very bad decision that i made and now my car has Weening Big-ends and the oil was completely burned after clocking only 400-450 km on M2.
I got the oil drained and called the Kixx guys that i have a sample of the low quality oil and they did responded by taking the sample from me and also offered me a free superior grade oil which i simply refused to take. Initially they tried to convince me by enforcing that my cars engine Rings are weak and Blah blah blah but the truth is the oil simply looses viscosity if driven on continuous speeds.
I have seen cars with leaked head gaskets and worse but many brands dont loose viscosity even after a heat-up.
They promised me after one hour of argue that they will get it tested from some lab in ISB and they never responded back, it has been almost 3 months now and now I have started using ZIc XQ which has unbelievably improved the grinding noise from my motor but the damage is done and I for your peoples good am warning you to stay away from this non-standard oil.
When you have options like Caltex, LLiqui Molly and ZIC then I suggest go for them and not for some new entrant like KIXX.
Before using this oil I did some interrogation on the suppliers part and was told that it is distributed by REhmania dealer in RWP and people have a good reputation. but the damage and inconvenience caused is great.
Please dont experiment and Be it any brand, if you are satisfied with it, stick with it.
