Cera Tec - Oil Treatments by Liqui Moly

CERA TEC is a high-tech ceramic wear protection product for all motor oils. CERA TEC reduces friction and wear due to ceramic compounds that withstand extremely high chemical and thermal loads. Prevents direct metal-to-metal contact, thus increasing the engine service life. The low-friction effect reduces fuel consumption in gasoline and diesel engines

Yes you can use the same MoS2 oil in your Belta also. It will be very suitable.
With MoS2 Engine Oil or Additive, do not use the Cera Tec as there would be too much solids then with the oil. Use Cera Tec or MoS2 separately as they both have same sort of function.

Great!! Thanks for the reply. I use Shell UltraHelix fully synthetic and will use the ceratec at my next oil change.

If you can afford then do try the LM SynthOil fully synthetic engine oil and mix Cera Tec with that. This is a very good oil with long oil drain interval. Last time I changed at 10K kms in my car, and still then I didn't feel that my oil is lagging any properties.

Changed my oil to Mos2 10w40 today from plaza motors defence. Got 4L pack for 3300/- and some "good quality filter" for 250 as per the shop guy's recommendation. He said this filter will good for 10k and oil can last as long as 20k kms. I don't think i can wait even half of these kilometers but lets see.

I am still to witness the impact of this as right now i don't feel much difference. But then i have only driven 15km since the change. I have heard this take a couple of day's driving to actually start working.

i have corolla GLi, 185ooo odo. no oil reduction but i feel roughness in engine plus noise. i am using toyota 20-50 engine oil
Gear is also getting abit harder to shift in 1st and 2nd gear.

i want to use Liqui Moly products. suggest me following
1- Engine Oil (guide also if changing grade can b a problem or not)
2- Ceratec should be used or not in engine
    3- Gear additive.

    Help would be highly appreciated

    1. As you have relatively an older engine, therefore you should use Liqui Moly LeitchLauf MoS2 10W40 Engine Oil. Use it with genuine oil filters and you car can easily do 8K kms.

    2. This oil already has MoS2 particles blended by the company, so no use for adding CeraTec.

    3. For Gears use, LM MoS2 Gear Oil additive, this is a highly recommended product. It comes in a tube and gets added to your existing gear oil if its still usable and you are not changing.

Yes these are common observations after switching to LM. Which oil were you using before by the way?

I was using fuchs. Changed it at 3k. Its also a good oil but LM is by far the best thing u can do for your engine specially the ones with high mileage where a lighter synthetic is not suitable.
