Aslam o Alaikum,
Test Driver Sir,
I have posted my matter on Pakwheels.com, but found that you are absent.
Actually my Daewoo have gone through overhauling process again after 4 months. 4 months before it was overhauled and I was not satisfied about the performance of the woo’s engine. It was producing too much sound. Mechanic told me that it is due to faulty camshaft, if u replace it sound vanishes.
In last year and last week of December I was with my family to mirpur khas and coming back from there. Suddenly car stopped after 1 kilometer running from Hyderabad to Karachi. And never run again until engine overhaul.
I told to mechanic he said u used thick oil that’s why engine pistons are jammed. He demanded this time that you must change camshaft with other parts. I was not satisfied so I left that mechanic and take my car to this mechanic.
He overhauled it after changing camshaft and other parts, I heard sound of the engine it was very high, he said we have left tappets loose so this sound is because of loose tappets and when we after running vehicle some time or kilometers on petrol, we tight the loose tappets and sound will vanish.
I talked to my previous mechanic and on pakwheels.com asad said these tappets are hydraulic and could not be left loose. So this new mechanic opened head and make adjustments. Sound was reduced but he is unable to tune it on petrol and said one of the sensor that provide the fuel is malfunctioning and providing more fuel that required.
- Today I checked engine oil that was also dark in color.
- The pipe used for back (unburned fuel)is also producing a lot.
- Silencer is producing sound like phat phat not smooth and emissions are also seen.
- The drive is also reducing water too much, and heating up then normal.
- How many sensors are involved to control fuel injection.
Plz guide me I want to keep this ride not in this condition.
Regards,
