suzuki alto 660cc fuel consumption

i have installed 660cc engine in my 1000cc alto and its fuel consumption is 13-14 km/liter but people says its consumption is 18-20 .... kindly help me out ..and any helpfull tips that i should know would be appreciated ...thx

dear why you have done that , there is no need for that , i guess a well tuned alto 1000 cc engine can easily gave you 13 to 14 km/liter , once i checked the milage on mehran by installing a 1 liter fuel bottel along with its fuel pump , it gave me 19 km , car was half driven in city and half on high way, if 800 cc engine can gave that millage then 660 twin cam engine can peform much batter

How did u manage to do this? I mean is it a bolt on fit? and how did u set up that different engine in old setup of local alto, ECU fittings, wirings? Please elaborate

@friend i knw 660cc should show better millage but i raised that question that why it is not giving me good millage plugs every thing is new but dont knw where the fault is....

my colleague owns ALTO 2007 660cc. Its fuel consumption is very poor.
even worst than local ALTO 1000cc.

660cc cant drag that big body. simple.

hmm i have also been pondering on this.... have you checked its catalytic converter (if it has one) ? they normaly become blocked due to poor fuel here. other than that i think you should check the engine status as that engine block might itself be damaged or overused in japan or where ever you got it from. best of luck !

Yar the local Mehran is 40HP whereas the alto is 54HP, even if it's only 660cc... aage khud hisab laga lo...

30k including installation engine and gear could be 22k
