I have opened the throttle body several times during past 3 months on my three different cars and every time screwed up the TPS sensor. RPM went upto 3500 and stayed there before I had to ask a local technician to adjust the TPS. He never used any multi meter but did it by guess and made me feel that he knows something which I donāt know. Later after reading many threads I realized that TPS requires proper adjustment using Multi meter. I have all the basic equipment but I am hesitant to do the job because I feel approach to TPS sensor wires is very difficult using multi-meter. I may have to cut them so do something with the pins. I still donāt understand how IRFAN did it but I would be really helpful if you can guide with more pictures.
Secondly, then this gentlemen(coolsmart) said above that TPS reading on Honda City 2004 to 2007 should be 0.1 Volts once Throttle fully closed and 4.9 Volts once throttle fully open. Seems like reading are different on every vehicle and right now I have a problem with Honda City which gives an error code of very low throttle position.
What should be the readings on Corolla 2002 t0 2007 and what should it be on Liana. Do you want me to follow same generic readings of 0.47 Volts and 4.5 Volts on every vehicle or should consult Vehicle Manual.
Where are these Manuals, what is the source of information, looks like manufacturers have kept the manual secret for Showrooms only. Please start publishing these Manuals on Pakwheels that everyone can benefit from it.
Great Thread IRFAN.
