Dear All,
Plz help, the problem i am facing is that i have tuned my 2006 xli from a local workshop.
Before tuning my car is doing approx. 120 ~ 130 km per cylinder on cng, but after tuning it is doing only 87~90 km per cylinder. Besides the owner of the tuning center claims before tuning that my car would touch 160 km per cylinder.
Now plz let me know what thing goes wrong and how to rectify this problem?

why dont you go back to tuning center....did you get injectors volume decreased???

yes definately i willgo back today or tommorow, but before going there i want to know about the possible problem.

if they have the computer scanner they can reduce the volume of the fuel injecting in the car.... but they could be other factors

but i have you checked how it is doing on petrol???

Yes also consuming more petrol.

when you get your tuning done did he do the following
1. throttle body cleaning/servicing
2.ultrasonic fuel injector cleaning
3.sensors cleaning
4. computerized analysis
5 computerized cng tuning
6.tappets adjustment
and
7 computerized tuning of my car.

and was he petrol or cng specialist???

He said no need of tappet adjustment because they are auto adjustable.
And he done all mentioned things manually and dont know about the point no. 2.

you should get all adaptable software in car refreshed... and reduce the volume of the injector... he will need a scanner

Dear only new plugs were installed......

you get air filter checked , ultrasonic injector cleaned and get your oxygen senor(important) check

your car does not have on O2 sensor - its got a trim pot bolted to the airbox. Why did you have the urge for "tooning" the engine when it was working top notch in the first place.
