Serious riders prefer to keep their sleeping bags and tents with them whenever possible.
@BilalZuberi On our way back we will cross the Lake Kallar Kahar, the famous mazaar, then another lake, Khoshab, the old single bridge on Jhelum, Sargodha and Sheikhupora. If we have time we can add Sakesar and Bhera(a historical city) Once the trip and its participants are finalised please share the responsibilities. I would recommend you and other friends to consult maps and find the facts yourself as my information might be out of date because it is mostly based on remote memory. |

@Raheeln
The first pic is from the area named as "Kattas Raj" there used to be a very sacred hindu temple currently being restored by Pakistan government also this place used to have one of the oldest universities of the region dating back thousands of years... The pics containing crops etc are of the areas in surrounding of Mianwalli (part of soon/sakesar valley)... The pics showing the lake are of the famous Sakesar Lake (a very beautiful place in itself)... You cannot expect that much green land and beauty as the northern areas of our country ... but every place has it's own beauty... and it's a worth watching place... ![]() And about the hotels and other stuff ... you can find PTDC in almost all of these areas... and further more these areas are not deserted...you can easily find a living place nearby... hope this information might help you...Disclaimer: This information is correct to as per my knowledge, which came from different forums...original ground realities may vary as per the place and situation...
