well the costs depend on the way you want to spend the vacations, it can be anywhere from a few 100k to 1000k.

about places in malaysia i can give you loads, but obviously depends what sort of places you want to go to. Similarly thailand, but my last trip there was a few years ago so cant provide an exhaustive list for thailand.

    i agree...this is too much..

the good hotels in malaysia cost around $100-150 a night. The ones he mentioned are the more expensive ones...
    that is unnecessary...

these travel agents always rip u off...

My advice to poster is that get a visa first. Then look for hotels on internet, you'll find the rates and can make bookings online. There's hotels as cheap as $50 a night as well...
Google for places to visit. The first one that comes to my mind is Bangkok .

    here's a good link :

Top 10 places to visit in Thailand

and add pattaya to the list. its a nice beach.

ticket can be bought from thai airways as well. I think they are cheaper than emirates. Estimated cost around $750-1000 for return ticket.

So everyday if u pay $150 for hotel, $50 for food, $150 for traveling and other expenses, the total per day would be around $350. lets round it to $400. now make it 8 days. $3200 total plus ticket of $1000. Total cost for an 8 day trip with no domestic thailand air travel included would be $4200. Lets round it to $4500. There you go. This should be your budget for an 8 day trip. Although I suggest lowering cost per day and going for a longer trip, maybe two weeks, then you'll really get to see thailand.

Or maybe go to malaysia? not much halal food problems there. Prices almost the same, plus minus.

Its always expensive when you go with Travel agent but then its a convenience . These are all five star hotel and cost alot of money. Try searching for them yourself. Obviously they add premium for these services. I have been to these three countries and they are super friendly in terms of accommodation. You can search for the hotels in your budget and book online. My observation is that booking online gives you the best deal. Rest Plan ahead to have a great tour. Singapore is small and probably will take 2-3 days at maximum. did not liked thailand a lot but still worth going. Phucket is too far from bangkok. So you can go to Pataya instead.

Malaysia is the place to be . KL, Putra jaya, Genting Island, Langkawi & Penang are the top places to be. Genting & Putra Jaya is one day trip each. KL will take 3-4 days. Langkawi and Penang are great. Depends on how much you wanna spend but atleast 1 days each. There are apartments available on beach side which are very economical and great for families. They are well furnished.

What in the world made you think senselessly as always that m offering this deal? You always jump to conclusions without thinking. Or is it a brain that you lack?

Just above my post which you have quoted, I have mentioned that my friend Mohsin shall be leaving today. This is his itenary that I have shared. Looking at this alone, I wonder if you noticed the hotel being Marriott. There is always a difference in the stars of the hotel you stay at, class of flight travel, excursion plans, etc. You need to know all this before you shoot someone in real and m telling you because it appears as if you have never left your home town even. Like Punk has stated, it is cheaper to go without agents. I never forced anyone particularly foolish YOU at gun point to accept what I posted.

Being a frequent traveller to Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore here are my suggestions :

    1. Always apply Transit (TR) Visa for Thailand. It is always Double Entry and valid for 30 days on each entry. It is also cheaper than Single entry Tourist Visa.
    2. Get a Single Entry Visa for Malaysia and Singapore
    3. Purchase return ticket for Bangkok only. It is between Rs. 40k to 57k. Book onward journeys online on AIR ASIA (budget airline). Sectors : Bangkok - Phuket , Phuket - Kuala Lumpur , Singapore - Bangkok.
    4. Travel to Bangkok. Take the airport train to city Makassan station. Only 90 bhat express train and 45 bhat normal. Train goes from airport's basement. Taxi will cost you 450 bhat. Stay on Sukhumvit Road (near Nana BTS station) or Khaosan Road (backpackers paradise). Both places offer tons of enjoyment. See temples and various other places in Bangkok. Stay 7 days. Travel to Pattaya beach for 3 days. Takes 1.5 hours by bus or taxi. then return to Bangkok.
    5. Take Air Asia domestic flight to Phuket Island in the South. You can also take overnight luxury bus. In Phuket hire a motorbike and ride all over island. See magnificent white beaches, private spots, crystal clear water and nightlife. Take boat to Phi Phi Island (go in the morning and return in evening) or you can stay for 1 or 2 days.
    6. Take you pre-booked flight from Phuket to Kuala Lumpur.
    7. In Kuala Lumpur, take ERL (airport train) to Central Station or take a BUS to city. Then take taxi to Bukit Bintang Road (called Golden Triangle). It is near all major attractions. Stay 5 days.
    8. Take a Bus from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore. Takes 4.5 hours.
    9. Stay in Singapore for 3 days.
    10. Take pre-booked Air Asia flight from Singapore to Bangkok. You have TRANSIT Visa so you can enter Bangkok again for 30 days. Stay 3 days.
    11. Take flight back to Pakistan.

Total cost including Ticket, Hotel, Food, Enjoyment for 29 day tour will be less than Rs. 170,000. If you are 2 or 3 people travelling together, the cost will come down to Rs. 140,000 each.

I can recommend hotels and guest houses where you can stay.

You can buy Air Asia ticket on-line using your personal credit card. Many travel agents also book for their clients. I can refer you to one in Islamabad.

Thanks brother. The itinerary you gave costing Rs 775,000 is just too much.

You mentioned Waqar Bhatti. I know him too. Works in travel agency in Blue Area (near American Express).

I can assist anyone travelling abroad as I have seen USA, Europe, China, Far East, Middle East. etc
