Budhesar Mosque
The DAM at BUDHESAR
If u can see thats me with my CAR couldn't drive my car towards dyke as the SAND was quite deep and car was getting stuck so had to stop there and wait for family
After that we moved on towards the nangarparkar city. By 11:00AM we were at Nangarparkar city.
The places to visit here.
1) Ancient Jain Temple
2) Karoonjhar Hills
3) Saadhro (Temples)
4) Chooryo
5) Qaasbo
Ancient Jain Temple and Karoonjhal Hills are accessible by car. Saadhro is within karoonjhar hills but due to land slide the road has been closed and Saadhro is accessible only by foot or jeep.
Chooryo and Qaasbo are at 1 hours and 2 hours drive respectively from Nangarparkar. I had 2WD car because of which I couldnt go towards Saadhro, Chooryo and Qaasbo.
Qaasbo is a place which is quite fertile in middle of desert and peacocks can be seen regularly.
Saadhro has hindu temples where peacocks can be seen as well (as people there feed them to attract tourists).
The ancient JAIN TEMPLE
At Karoonjhar hills a child's daring stunt has been recorded and I am uploading it now on facebook can be seen here:
By 12:30PM we were on our way back to MITHI. There is a small city of BHALWA on the route of MITHI-NANGARPARKAR.
Bhalwa city is famous for its UMAR-MARVI tale.
Its said Marvi from village of Bhalwa was famous for her beauty. King of Thar during those days UMAR SOOMRO had heard a lot about her beauty and went on to bring her to his palace. Marvi used to come to a WELL to fetch water for her family. That day she was doing the same when Umar King came to her and asked for water. After seeing her UMAR fell in love and kidnapped her and took her to his fort at UMARKOT. But Marvi missed her parents so much that she denied all the luxuries of UMAR and kept on pushing him to return her to Bhalwa Village. Eventually UMAR felt heartbroken and sent her back to Bhalwa to her parents.
That well is located at BHALWA and now Government of Sindh is renovating the WELL as well as building a guest house there which can be seen in pictures.
We reached MITHI at 3:30PM. Again my ladies went on to some last shopping while me went on to sleep for few hours.
At 6:30PM we again went to Gaddhi Bhitt to see beautiful sun set.
The return journey was full of DETOURS because of strike and don't ask how we reached home safely.
