The "Karachi Travellers Group" (KTG) has successfully completed the trip to Makran Coastal Highway till Buzi Pass covering places like Kund Malir Beach, Hingol River, Rock Formations at Buzi Pass, The Sphinx, Princes Of Hope and Hinglaj Nani Mandir on 22nd November 2014 covering almost 700 kms.
It all started when we all travel loving enthusiasts sat together few weeks ago in search for new destination and finally it was decided to hit the Makran Coastal Highway. Often, it is portrayed that Balochistan is not safe.. and yes its true to some extent but this region of Balochistan (District Makran & Lasbela) are thankfully safer. The arrangement was taken over by two brilliant guys @ali.waseem.7 (Ali Waseem) & @bilalsiddique (Bilal Siddique). The event invitation was posted, it was open event and anyone could join.. aur phir.. log miltay gaye karvaan banta gaya... A total of 30+ people confirmed, once everything was done we hit the road on 22nd Nov but unfortunately @bilalsiddique & 2 other ppl had to abort their plan at last moments due to sudden exigences in their family.
We started our journey sharp at 04: 30 hrs and soon hit the RCD Highway after taking Northern Bypass. It was surprisingly very foggy. We reached Zero Point by 07: 40 hrs leaving behind Hub & Winder. At Zero Point, we had breakfast and then continued the journey on Makran Coastal Highway. This highway is indeed one of the best highways in Pakistan, beautifully paved and spectacular views.
Our first destination was Kund Malir beach where we reached at 11: 00 hrs. Stopped there for about an hour and witnessed one of the most beautiful desert beaches in Pakistan. Then we advanced towards Buzi Pass to see the rock formations of Sphinx & Princess of Hope. By 14: 30 hrs we reached back to Hingol River and had our lunch there and took a detour towards Hinglaj Nani Mandir (a sacred Hindu temple built in a beautiful oasis trapped inside a canyon). After spending about an hour there.. we started the journey back to Karachi by 16: 30 hrs. And finally we reached Karachi at 22: 00 hrs.
All the credit goes to KTG for arranging this excellent trip especially @ali.waseem.7 who took the sole responsibility on his shoulders for all the arrangements.
Now hopefully the above narration will already give you guys a raw drawing in your mind. Rest the pictures and their captions will draw colors in the sketch.. so check out the pictures as I post.
Thanks everyone..
