Walaikum salam,
Dear Kashif I like the thread it is interesting and would be beneficial to all special families and budget people like me.
Well beind a mediocre I always enjoyed eating at roadside stalls set by locals, lower or middle class restaurants and most of the times gets the best of tastes. Even though we can have best of the foods in our Karachi and in Lahore but the same or even lesser quality tastes very much when you are at scenic places like Muree, Naran, Swat or else. Following are some of the dishes I enjoyed on these places:
Halwa Puri, Daal fried, Murgh chana, Chapli kababs, Karahi gosht (Chicken or mutton) doodh patti chai with pakora samosa.
The price depends upon the location and class of restaurants and may vary place to place. It is important to encourage lower and mid class vendors at these places to improve quality and competition as well this is my opinion.
