at least 8 hrs.....ideal places are: MALAM JABBA, WHITE PALACE MURGHAZAR AND KALAM....see murghazar palace from 8/00 am time to 11/am then move to malam jabba and return at usir prayers from there and at maghrib time you will be at mingora hotel....next day move to kalam after breakfast.. On way to kalam, road up to bahrain is newly constructed and fine as of motorway where driving is enjoyable and gets 1 1/2 hr and from bahrain to kalam there is kacha and dangerous up and down road and beside kalam river is flowing in full swing and deep where it will take at least 2 1/2 hrs... After 4 pm, it is dangerous to move on road ahead bahrain to kalam.....Kalam is magnificent place where two routes flow:(1)ushu valley, matilitan village and mahodand lake(2)utrot valley and gabral village....you must stay two nights there....Presently, only three or four hotels and some shops opened, 90% shops and hotels closed....quite silence and loneliness at night.....so go there after April month, it is my advice.... i remained in hotel alone(all other hotels were empty and full loud noise of dogs and water flowing frightening all night) and could not sleep whole night as being with family....early in the morning, i only could go up to glacier as road to mahodand lake and the other side(utrot river, gabral etc) was closed because of snowfall till the last week of march......
