Tomb of Bibi Jawindi, Baha'al-Halim and Ustead and the Tomb and Mosque of Jalaluddin Bukhari


World monuments Watch
List of 100 Most Endangered Sites Was Awarded a World Monuments Watch grant from American Express Company.


Here is some info about Tomb of Bibi Jiwindi!

The tomb was built in 1494 A.D Muhammad Dilshad Of khorasan.
It is the Most remarkable Monument of its kind at Uch.
The Personage Lying buried here was the pious lady popularly Known as Bibi Jiwindi,
the great daughter of sayed jalal-ud-din Bokhari Jahanair Jahangashi.
The tomb was built on octagonal base and crowned with a single dome raised on externally octagonal.
The tomb was provided with arched windows.
The Walls and turrets taper upwards.
The monument is profusely and brilliantly decorated with mosaic in white, blue and green colours. In 1817 A.d, a
fierce flood destroyed almost half of it.
