I recently bought a new Honda civic (have only driven 300km till now) with navigation (IGO3 version) provided by tracking world.
The car itself is outstanding and the ride is much smoother after changing tires.
The navigation is the problem though. My last car did not have navigation in it as it was a 2009 model and Honda didn't provide the navigation at that time so I was pretty excited to use the navigation in the new civic but its such a piece of crap.
It lags and is way too slow. The start up time is like 2 minutes and usually you do not need the cameras after 2 minutes as you have already reversed and are on the road.
I really liked the front camera feature but it gets stuck with pink lines in it and again the switching between cameras takes for ever. After paying 70k you have to pay addition 950 to buy a dongle which lets you use your Cell phones hotspot or wifi.
It's been only 2 months and I have gone to the tracking world office and get the the software refreshed 2 times.
After all this pain I contacted the tracking world company and they have given me two choices. I need your guys advice to choose one.
1) Replace this system with a new system of the same version. Same problems MIGHT persist in that but this will be totally free of cost.
2) Tracking world has imported a new 2nd generation navigation system which Honda will integrate in to new civics to be delivered in June I think and they are changing the price to something about 80k. The new system is a full android with play store and all. 16gb storage and they CLAIM that all these problems have been solved in that BUT they will charge me 10,000 service charges to replace my navigation system for the new navigation system.
Guys should I go for the new system? They have just completed the quality checks of the new system and have hardly implemented this system into 50 civics till now. I'm afraid as it is so new it might still have some bugs and all. Also should I pay 10k more after paying so much already lol?
Help me out here
Thanks
