Yup bruv thats very true. But its Pakistani market. And no doubt that suzuki and toyota are the kings. People prefer them, i dont know why but they do ! Its going to change though, thats for sure. In moderate cities like islamabad/lahore you do see alot of variety, in peshawar and all you only see XLI,XLI and XLI.


I doubt any true car guru will go for a car like XLI. I doubt it will pass the road worthy test over here and there are no old shape (2000-2008 i think) rollas here. Even the new ones are atleast 2K + cc,with alot of weight and features equalant to our camrys.

lol @ pakwheelers mentality even the most senior members r ignorant, bhai base model xli in saudia is 1.6L manual windowns no abs and cassette player lol Pakistani xli has 1.3L engine and saudi has 1.6L rest is all the same and yea pakistani one has cd player research before u speak, my brother rented it for few days and he told me its just 1.6 otherwise feels the same

still bro i believe people get value for money their which we dont in any case.

whats common here? i booked my gli from toyota walton lahore, they said our car will be delivered in 2 months but did i get it? nope, its been 4 months already. indus motors is running its factory half shift (12 hours daily) claiming that there is no demand whereas toyota indus, all its dealers and a few investors all have joined hands to create an artificial shortage, due to which current gli/xli on is near 60000 rs. The investors, dealers and indus motors all are making money by not delivering genuine buyers cars and ripping people off. whats the use of booking a car now???

I have the same Saudi Xli here in Jeddah in maroon colour which is displayed on this thread.


This is the fully loaded version of Xli 1.8L + Sunroof + Foglights + chrome grills + 10 spoke alloys.


And spare wheel is also the same tyre with the same Alloy rim so a set of 5 Alloy rims is coming with the car. We purchased this car for 69000 S.R only, equal to 15,18,000 PKR.


This car is coming with 15'' Alloys and low profile 205/60/R16 Dunlop tyres. Car is very good but a little bit bumpy at rough roads because of 15" alloys. I have this one in Automatic version, Itried my best but this car cant go beyond 190 with 4 passengers and luggage, alone I never tried.

The most loaded version after this is Gli which is equipped with Cruise control & digital console in the middle for AC and Mp3 player controls.


And no XRS version of Corolla is launched in Saudia.
