Hey guys..just sharing these pics taken with my own camera. a family was enjoying early morning at sea view but did not realize that the sea, which retreats at night time, comes forward with full force in the morning. their 4 cars - VTI oriel, Corolla Altis, Alto VXR, Platz were soon 'brutally' stuck in the soft sand and the water levels were rising - no luck with digging sand beneath the tyres as a was would come and bring even more mud to fill gaps.only Civic was able to come out - which was managed through almost full RPM and constant push from so many people from back and sides. all other cars were really...their engines were totally in salty waters...God knows what mechanically happened to them..
Just sharing for all the buddies on PW
damn that's sad, but the owners should have taken measures before parking so close, the owners are at fault here.
p.s: that's a corolla gli.
corolla seems to be Govt car...may be
Thats why they have blocked all ways to the seaside but still some people really want to go inside. In morning time its all empty one can easily park on the road and enjoy the view.

Looks like they were new to Karachi.
4x4 lovers will be laughing
Sad to hear about mechanical loss of engines. The owners were at fault here.
In the long term all these cars are scrap the salt will slowly eat away.. The metal. Wiring issues bad smell. All sorts of problems...plus if u lift these car wile they have water in them the chassis will twist. .
They should have taken a 4x4 if they really wanted to park in water Sent from my Desire HD using Tapatalk 2
they shud have taken to da service station instead ' lol
well sand/ water.. Don't think a 4x4 can do anything. Just make sure you know when high tide will arrive.

It looks like these folks don't live by the sea; they'd know better if they did.
This is want happens when you don't pay attention to the high & low tide subject in science class.
