^^ Have you guys seen that stupid FAW thingy on road? It's so awfully hideous and pathetically unbalanced, looks like a sodding toy windy car. And let's not even talk about it's reliability and availability of parts, customer services, actual warranty status, engine and drivetrain, build quality, and all.
Swift is not a terribly good car, or one that makes much sense, in my opinion- but that FAW is a total disaster compared to the Swift.
Now, here- as far as I can see, crumple zone did its job well: cabin looks good, A and B pillars are intact, so are the doors and seats. Whole dashboard assembly just collapsed, it wasn't pushed inside. Steering wheel took the damage and didn't go through their lungs, even though they were not wearing belts, apparently. How is it bad?
