One of my ex senior colleagues was looking for a car since a month and asked me to help him buy a car. I asked him to come to Lahore which he did last friday. We checked out a few civics here but the ones we liked were tooo highly priced. One my cousins had a civic 2004 which was sent to him a year ago by me and I knew all about the car. Long story short, we left for Sargodha at 6pm that day to get the car. Had a nice dinner, finalized the deal and took the car.
My senior left for Faisalabad from Sargodha around midnight and me and my cousin left for Lahore since he wanted a new car now from Lahore. I had not reached Sial Mor interchange yet when my phone rang and it was my ex senior. I instantly knew something was seriously wrong since the car was in pretty good nick. The poor guy had had an accident.
The incident took place near Lalian on Sargodha Chiniot road. There was a tractor trolley standing on the road that was loaded with sugar cane. He could not see it since it had no tail lights and there was a lot of heavy traffic with high lights coming from front.
The speed was between 60-80km/h and he had very less time to brake as he saw it only a few seconds before the incident. The car received severe impact.
Alhamdulillah, he did not get hurt at all. Not even a single bruise. Allah ki rehmat hui.
I immediately rushed to the site, made arrangements for the car to be sent to lahore and dropped my senior at his place in Faisalabad. It was really sad to see him when he got out of my car carrying only the documents and number plates of the car. he had bought the car with love and the car was also in a very good condition. I was thinking about how his family would react when he enters his house carrying those docs and no sign of the car.
Below are some pictures of the car. We are thinking about selling it as it is. For those who might be interested; it is 2004 exi manual karachi registered with return file and on a friend's name.
