years ago we bought a charade 1985 diesel from a guy for 135K. As car was too old and nominally priced, we didnt bothered with 15 or any FIR. after a couple of years, some special team stopped the car in Rawalpindi and announced that car is chori ki. Took the car and my brother, who was driving the car, to their office. My brother is a doctor, so they treated him with respect. He called father to come to the team's office. My father came, asked them to show the FIR that was first lodged for car theft. We were astonished to see that, registration number was same but car mentioned was a corolla 1986. After a bit of arguing we got a clean chit.
A couple of years passed, police stopped the car again, saying again that car is chori ki. Took us to police station, this time, reg. number was same, but vehicle mentioned in FIR was a bike. we were like wtf. . . .
