    HERE

Friend & fellow members am not a clearing agent. I have obtained the copies & compiled data exclusively for members of this forum. I believe every member is a computer user have some common wisdom to understand the attachments after reading the chronology - all data is for cross reference & understanding only

Please remember 3 most important things while calculating the final amount to be paid to exchequer.

    1. Depreciation is calculated from 1st registration of vehicle plus the Import trade price at the year of production. Or the Declared value which ever is higher. that is " Assessed value ".

    2. Customs duty is charged at figure which is added as freight & insurance to assessed value after depreiciation (maximum allowed 60%)

    3. Customs duty is calculated engine CC slabs.

Right hand drive or Left hand drive have no significance unless otherwise mentioned or declared on an order sheet.

    Chronology of the attachments -

GD = Good Declaration consist of 66 inputs. after which an outpass valid for 24 hours is issued for taking the goods out of customs permises.
