Looks LIke AE82 to me which comes with Twin Cam 16V 4AGE TVIS motor....!
and its 1.6L 1600cc car.....not 1300cc
its a 1600cc car with GT TWIM Cam 16V with 4AGE
and looks in good condition....!

THNAX FOR THE RESPONSE. ITS ACTUALLY JAPANESE RECONDITIONED(2000) IF THEY CHANGED ENGINE THATS NO PROB. IF THE ORIGINAL ENGINE IS NOT DOING GOOD THEN THAT IS OF NO USE.THE PRESENT ENGINE OF THE CAR IS STILL THROWING WATER OUT OF CYLINCER. I WANT TO MAKE CORRECTION OF ((SER_GTR)) IS ITS ORIGINAL ENGINE IS 16 VALVES N NOT 1600CC LIKE TODAY,S COROLLA ZGEN TWIN CAM 16 ENGINE, IT WAS 16VALVE AND NOT 1600CC.TC.KEEP IN CONTACT EVERYBODY.

I don't get you sir....!
You Said its Genuine engine is Twin Cam16v and not 1600cc .....
how can it be possible....! this 86 Corolla came with either 1.3l 2E(12v) engine or reconditioned ones came with 5AFC 1.5L...!
1.3L engine with Twin Cam 16V...i don't get it...
Toyota have 4E-FE engine which is 1.3L + Twin Cam 16V but it did'nt came in 86 corolla...! it start to come in AE100 95 Corolla Indus Shape..!

This Car from looks Interior and Emblems looks 86 GT to me that came with 1.6L 4A-GE Twin Cam 16V Engine...!thats why i said it might be 1600cc earlier...!

if you swap it ..i can't say but this car can't be 1.3L + Twin Cam 16 from Factory....thats for sure...!
you better show older engine pics and new engine pics...!
that might solve misunderstanding...!!

i am sure there is something of GT left in there other than the badge on rear door/ trunk

what other parts have been changed?. i can see the high ground clearance suspension already in picture.
