As with any old car, the selling price is determined by how badly the buyer wants it. A restored VW is a VERY relative term. One mans restored and ready car might and in most cases WILL be another mans project to begin with. Often in our country restorations have corners cut and people hardly put in the time and effort.
same is the case for the second point and third actually. a good condition beetle depends on what you call good. also it depends on whether the car in question is a 1950 split window beetle or a 1974 with a regular 1300 cc engine.
The price is always right as long as the buyer and seller both agree. having said that, a properly nice restored VW in this part of the world is not worth what it should be.
