Salman,

Please go through the last ten pages of the VWCOP club pages. I did post a 69 for sale which belongs to a cousin of mine along with a pic or two. The car is a good starting point for your requirement I think but does require a rebuild.

Do follow the leads given by Msm as Im sure you would stumble across interesting deals.

MSM, Im sorry you sold the bug. May I ask why??? Im hoping you would buy another one soon as you qualify as 'a suitable boy' for a bug in my eyes.

Who is Altamash??? Im curious as I know one Altamash but in a strictly professional way. If he is youngish, around 30, very polite and nice, ask him if he has ever known a Dr. Asad at LNH. If hes the same Altamash, he would jump!

Ok, Im being idiotic with my assumptions

. Anyway, do ask the new owner to grace these pages and let us know of his progress.

Which white 1303 are you referring to???? Is it the one which was seen at the VCCCP Independence Day meet??? If that is the car you are talking about it belonged to a Mr. Faisal who is friends with Safeershah. He also knows me a bit. As far as I know he does not visit PWs....at least he is not a member and doesnt post.

He has sold that white 1303 to someone now. I came to know about the sale via Basit ustaad as the car was there a few days ago.

thanx for considering me as a beetle boy...

well i dont know why i sold it a young guy came to me told me that he have saved a sum of this much for a bug and he wanna have it as he love to own a unit although he had a lot less to offer against my bug and i was sure he wount be able to get a nice unit in that price tag i let me take it after confirming that the car will not be choped or will be powerd by a any other engien than of Type 1.

hez a young boy in hiz 20's may be 20 - 22 max and not a doc

Have not updates this topic since ages.

Lets plan a meet soon! I was thinking of the weekend after next. Sunday the 18th, I am tied up at my workplace so it has to be Sunday the 25th of Oct or later.

Please inform of your availablity and do pour in your ideas of what your ideal meet would be like.

I was thinking that we should gather at Boatbasin on Sunday morning, at a time not too late....maybe tenish? so we can have a halwa puri nashta. Then we can head out to seaview and proceed to an area between Devil's point and Carlton Hotel where a nice new park has come up recently. Green grass, peace and quiet, no salty seaspray.....ideal for a nice picnic.

Let me know your thoughts on this. Also, please spread the word to all VW owners you know so maximum participation is achieved.
