Vitz Owners Club

The purpose of this post is to gauge the interest in forming a Vitz Owners Club in different cities of Pakistan. As we all know that Vitz has become quite popular in the last year or so. More and more people are buying it or are interested to know more about it. The purpose of the club would be to share technical / operational information regarding the car. As well as help fellow members with different issues regarding the everyday running of the car. There would be regular meets and get together as well as cruises. The criteria to join the club would be to own a Vitz and a desire to help and share information with fellow members. I myself am based in Karachi, so I can take the lead in taking off this project here. Other can do the similar thing in their respective cities. If there is enough interest, a formal charter / by-laws would be issued with club rules and regulation as well as its mission statement. The club would operate under the same rules & conditions as other international car clubs. To take this project off the ground, I believe 10 people in each city would be the minimum requirement. If anyone from Karachi is interested in being a part of this club, please email me at danyal1@hotmail.com. Pakwheelers from other cities can share their email addresses under this post if they are willing to take the lead for their respective cities. I hope to this see become a success someday and a model for other to follow. LETS MAKE IT HAPPEN GUYS!!!

I am looking to buy a vitz soon , my only hesitation is availability of spare parts , servicing , and if thers any problem who ll fix it. I knw this has nothing to do with the topic and the question must have been asked many times but can u tell me ur experience with Vitz please.

So far I have 2 expressions of interest (incl. myself). 8 more to would lay the foundation of the Karachi chapter.

I have owned my Vitz for more a year now and its been a great experiance. Spare parts are now becoming available and servicing is done through the Toyota dealers. So far no issues with the entire ownership experiance. Just make sure the model you buy is a good export grade and have it checked by an exprienced machanic.

Thanks for the info . How much should i pay for '03 Vitz? its really expensive here in Islamabad - nothing below 7lak 50k(2003 model )
I cant buy from karachi as i have to see the car personally before purchasing.,

I suggest you visit Karachi as there are plenty of Vitz available here for differnet price ranges. There are also a few sellers on Pakwheels who would be willing to help you out with your purchase.

doc storm also came to karachi to alta to get his vitz why dont you come and get a car from em ....

errr guys how do we reset the tripmeter ? i mean i want to note mileage and want to set it to zero ...

in comparison to my civic and cultus the ride experience is lil bit "higher" i dont know how to express it otherwise, very smooth ride i must say equal or better to my oriel

Its a best family car far more better then cultus as far as parts are concern they are now easily available at TOYOTA dealers, beside that u can also get digital meter as well if u want to change from analog meter bcoz some vitz hv analog meter well i hv few vitz to sell as well below are some pics of modified vitz which is for sale .

press the left most button on the meter for 5-10 seconds and it'll reset "trip a" & "trip b"

make a trip to KHI, it'scheaper to go there and buy a car (and send it by truck to ISB) than it is to buy a piece of garbage from here. all teh cars here are junk. I did my research and in the end i opted to buy from alta.

He's one of the best dealers i've ever met & will sell you a good machine.

baqai first of all congrats on ur new ride..very nice i saw the pics...white looks BEST on vitz..

neways ur the first civic owner who doesnt feels ashamed rto admitt that the vitz is smoother or atleast as smooth as the civic..
when i tell someone that my 2004 platz/echo sedan is better than atelast a liana/city they start falming me..LOl..ironic aint it..ppl not ready to acceept that these small hatchbakcs/sedans outclass our so called BIG CARS!!

thanks storm ... what about status of the lights when you turn the ignition on ?? which lights are supposed to be on and which are supposed to go off ???

RatedR thanks yaar ... after whole day of driving the civic when i took the delivery of the car and drove it back home i felt the drive was equal or better than the civic, yes seats were better in my civic

and yeah my civic gives more punch when i put the pedal to the metal :p

i heard that i can get a 2001-2002 model in 550 laks...
is it true..from whrr..?
can frnds tell mee for how much u all purchased ur vitz...?

price n specify model tooo..?

i also heard that cng is not sucessful in vitz as proper amulator n advanceer are not availablee...any one using vitz on cng tell mee ur experience n whts the average of vitz...?

from whr in lahore can i get the spare parts for vitz...
r they cheap orr expensive..?

you should get in touch with the official PW vitz dealer (@alta) and ask him for a quote. As for parts, toyota LHR is offerign full support to the vitz now.
