The car is pretty good on high speeds as far as I know but i'll agree with @outcast that the ride quality isnt that good, maybe its because of the low profile tyres.
i disagree. the car's stability is pretty good at least better than rolla. You just gotta have good tyres and also the low profiles on city are even better. I had an iDSI earlier and now a steermatic and i know the driving difference.
BTW: All fast super cars have low profile tyres then how come u are saying that steermatic us unstable coz of low profile tyres.
Believe me, steermatic is a low cost luxury!
@gogadrum
im not saying that the car is unstable because of low profile tyres, im saying that the ride isnt comfortable and it maybe caused by low profile tyres.
@memphis
City STEERMATIC remains STABLE over 100 km aswell. I suggest u to check ur self first.
@outcast_83
No no bro. I m afraid to say that u r wrong. City has got VTEC under its hood that can assure DRIVING PLEASURE aswell.
Comparing to SUNNY 1.6L, i already mentioned and it is confirmed aswell that CITY STEERMATIC can able to SMOKE SUNNY 1.6L AUTOMATIC.
Totally agrees with u about ur luxury comment.
@all
my dear friends why are you guys constantly telling me that the city is stable, i never said that the city is unstable in the first place please check my posts and then comment...
@ofkhansir low prifile tyres . this car definately need 185/55/15 coz of its acceleration .
i love this (my) car bec of two major qualities i.e its TRANSMISSION N VTEC engine . interior is cool from my point of view better n beautiful then 2005 civic .
rate this car: A LITTLE SPORTY CAR
Bro, the cars; ride is not that bad. Again i am mentioning that i had an iDSI manual before (dont remember the exact tyre specs but had the 13", 185 -Dunlops) and now with this car having 15" low profiles, the ride is less bumpy.
There are so many people who change their mind about city once they get to drive the machine. I myself was once biggest opponent of city and look!!! i ended up buying 2 different models
u4usman4u: Thanks bro for supporting me.
Guys, i have a question, can i convert the steermatic on CNG .has anyone has or know of anyone? please share your experince, as i am seriously thinking of buying the steermatic soon.
U did mention that the car was not comfortable because of low profile tyres.
It is totally wrong. City STEERMATIC also comes with (i think) 7 SPOOK EXCELLENT ALLOY RIMS that doesn't let down the COMFORT.
I can assure u that STEERMATIC is better in COMFORT DEPARTMENT than 2004 COROLLA 1.6L SE-SALOON.
It is an open challenge. Do check ur self too.
Actually i should say that STEERMATIC RAPES COROLLA IN COMFORT.
It is the real FACT too.
@omar24
I haven't any expierence of STEERMATIC on CNG.
But i would like to say that STEERMATIC comes with 1.5L SOHC VTEC. And u can easily see the PROSMETIC & MANUAL VTi CiViCs on CNG which also comes with 1.6L SOHC VTEC.
This represents that CNG works fine on VTEC.
Well guys I dont know about the roads in Rawalpindi and Islamabad but down here in Karachi I really do feel that the city's ride is a bit bumpy..
By the way I have the car since March 2006, 10,000 km done.
My car.
Are u talking about exactly STEERMATIC with 7 spokes ALLOY RIM ???
If not then it may be the case.
i just read the specs on teh steermatic,... seems it has the same horsepower as my defender,... that's pretty good for such a small light car.
I'd like to know how it stands up to the similarly sized and priced (abroad) echo, platz, belta, in terms of drivability.
(Y)
great,.. so like with the "civic reborn" people will call this car the "city outperform",... LOL!!
LOL@storm
@u4usman4uFor ur king info brother, liana sport is also equipped with 15" alloys with a 1.3L engine.
Gadha gari main jet ka engine laga dene say gadha gari plane naehin ban jati.
@shqasmi,,,,,,,,,,if u r trying to call steermatic a gadha gaari
then i think there is someone who needs to be called a gadha,,,,,
