Mehran EFI

Hi All

I have came to know from sources that Pak Suzuki is working on converting the existing Carby based Engine to EFI one.

Any one has any information regarding this news than please share your response.

Lolz @ Efi Mehroo. Would that make any difference???? Even if this news is true, it is just going to be another lolly pop for the pakistani buyers. Just like they gave us the lolly pop of crystal lights a few years back and then the lolly pop of new colors choices.

No they havnt done a EFI mehran in India, altho it has been discontinued in some cities due to emission standards.

China has a EFI Mehran, Dont know about Paksuzuki, Im again not sure but im damn sure in 2006 a 800cc EFI Alto was planed to replace the Mehran, but that plan was called off.

They already done so in India as well. Please find below the specifications of Indian Maruti 800. Kindly review the engine specification.

It has been banned in India due to high emission ratting..

Over all i believe that P.S. is now realizing that they need to update the models frequently as a result they have launched Swift and now they are planning to upgrade Mehran which is a really good step as per my thinking is concerned.

as far as engine as concern mehran is going good with with this engine(without EFI),i just want to say these non sense suzuki engineers,insted of making modifications in engine change da body shape and interior of mehran,,,,,lakin meri kon sunay ga bhai 1988 say yahi model aa raha hay,,,

Practically speaking, this would be a great move! This would improve bad rep of mehran... most expectidly, Ac and CNG both would work good! Bhp would be improved and alot more! 4 me a carby car is not a car... cars shud be only EFi now..
Had been thinking ebt this dat why dont Pak Suzuki ppl convert mehran into Efi? if its happening its a really good news now for all middle class people, entry level car afforders - now maintenence wud be easy, performance wud be better...

NO way of Efi engines in mehran as well as in alto.Because in our country emission laws are not strict and these cars are top seller of PS so no chance.Enjoy Carby...
