Honda civic 2013 : Pakistan launch

Good news for all Honda Civic fans in Pakistan that Honda has now confirmed its availability of the New Civic between October and November this Year (2012). The production of current model has been stopped ( CONFIRMED NEWS ). Honda Atlas is now in the process of clearing stock.There is no exact word on its price, but it is estimated that it will fall between 21 lac and 23 lac depending on the model.

INSHALLAH CIVIC IS ABOUT TO BE LAUNCHED IN MOST LIKELY SEPTEMBER....maybe its booking starts prior to the official launch but thts unconfirmed....

Bro civic was released in rest of countries in second Quarter of 2012 (afair) and it was a total flop, tons of negative reviews of top car magazines and then soon it was kicked out of the list of top recommended cars since all the new models of rest of the competitors were far superior then civic.
Honda CEO himself then issued a statement (unable to find the link where i read it now) admitting their mistakes and promised that they will be doing an early refresh to the newly released honda civic, well they did changed the front and rear a bit (earlier front looked like current city) but i guess this refresh was still not enough.

Its best if we compare it with other locally assembled cars in Pakistan and you will see it is a good option. It's needless to compare the local auto industry with the international industry because they have a lot of options whereas we have only three assemblers left (Pak Suzuki, Toyota and Honda) and in small car market there is now only Suzuki left (hence zero competition).

This is the only assembler in Pakistan which is giving cars in line with what's being offered in the international market. So, this should be appreciated. Of course I agree if the price is 2.6 million its a bit steep :/

Well yes... am just saying honda after release of new model realized its not up to the par and they even went for an early refresh, but sadly they still couldnt come up with any thing actually good. Its not about comparing national or international...

9kRs -----transport charges
arnd 80k Rs---- registration
75-90k Rs ---- insurance

so total is 2.6million+

still used markx is better option!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bhai gee subah Katta khul jai ga Price will be declared after 12 pm press confrance at PC Lahore. Cars are reached on all dealerships nationwide and will display after 12 PM tomorrow

Still many die hard honda fans will buy this no doubt abt that.but many people who preffered the the design of current reborn will not like this.Civic lost its elegance after this model and one who wants to spend 2.6 million on a car will definitely buy a car that looks stunning which is not the case with this one

Yar Jaggi bhai why are you comparing a MArk X with Honda Civic.. They are totally two different cars.. Trust me, the maintenance cost of markx wud be far higher than honda civic talkless of the fuel efficiency.. Considering Fuel prices touching 105 rs per liter, one will definitely appreciate civic over makrx... for soo many reasons.. first, markx wud be 6 to 7 years old car.. second, markx wud be burning more fuel than civic. Third, spare parts prices and availability wud be a heck considering markx.

A wise man wud go for brandnew civic while a show off chaudhary (like me ) wud go for markx.. lolzzzz

Well Every body has its own opinion & for me 9 gen back is better than 8th gen .I may attract loads of criticism by this comment of mine but truth is back lights and poor fuel economy are the only things i disliked about 8th Gen ,yes 8th gen was better overall exterior wise I agree .... we will get use to 9th Gen in couple of months I am sure.

Again in overall package interior ,Exterior ,Gadgetry etc I think 9th Gen far better .


I think most people will prefer 6th Gen over 7th Gen Shape wise ,but will buy 7 th Gen if offered choice because of teleological Advancement isn't it?

For God sake dont compare Premio with Honda Civic... I bought Toyota Premio one week before Eid (Top of the line 1.8 2008 model).., Sold the car one week after Eid. Didnt like the crap... Trust me the Interior Space is even worse than the local corollas... I dont know why people talk of a car without keeping it... I have kept both Civic Reborn and Premio.. I wud grade Civic over Premio any day.... We are just mad about Japanese cars unknowingly they are also busy producing disposable cars... It is unlike the old days when japanese produced life long vehicles... Nowadays japanese never keeps a car for more than 5 years now.. they upgrade and dispose off the waste to poor countries like Pakistan where we grade there second hand items over brandnew locally assembled.. I agree we lack options in our brandnew vehicles... but trust me.. Brandnew is always a brandnew... Will you prefer buying a Landa Bazaar (second hand market) Coat or Brandnew Coat from a designer shop? Think over...

I once again beg all my fellow members... First drive a car before commenting on it... Premio is a useless car in my perception... Sold it on a loss as well.. talkless of the resale value....
