@mzchaudry:
you have answered quite a few misconceptions, but you have created others.
1. No CLOCK
Why dont you read the manual? OK, press the DISP button and you see the time, keep it/dial pressed to set the time better read the manual. I read both manuals cover to cover before driving the car so I know if anything needs attention.
3. No Arms Rest
I got one for Rs. 300, do not be so cheap.
4. Less road clearence
Its more than cultus, do not compare with Mehran now please.
5. Too less trunk space
Its more than Mehran, but less than cultus, fine for the overall size.
6. No EFi makes the engine stall at sometimes.
Get your car checked never happened to me, I park nearly daily 2 floors below ground level.
Moreover, you have not mentioned what fuel average you are getting, I do not get more than 10.5 km/l with A/C, I think this is worth the comfort, but I won't say others will think this way as well.
Also the RPMs you mentioned are all wrong. Automatics need to be driven with a different tactic. I have an RPM meter installed so I know the working of the tranmission and compare it to the other auto car I drove (a Corolla EE90). If you keep the accelerator depressed more than half cuore will change gears after 4800 RPM, if you leave it slightly at 2600 or above the car will shift gears and you can again press it, its like what you do with an accelerator in a manual car because you only remove the clutch and stick the accelerator is still there However, if you keep the accelerator fully pressed, car will shift to lowest possible gear and over-rev, do not try it without a meter.
The engine noise can be heard if you want to push the car in high revs and have the windows open, I use mild and the thermostat near the mid when I do not need much cooling but opening windows gives noise from other vehicles, plus diesel smoke and dust to sit in the car
I agree with the pros you mentioned. I spent a lot of time before deciding to buy a Cuore Auto, and that has paid off, other contendors were Alto 1000 and Revo 105+. But the traffic of Karachi is now screaming for Autos, now I am not tired even if I spend 2 hours in rush traffic. In a mehran, 1 hour was enough for me. Now I am keeping myself away from the mehran because I am so used to the brakes of Cuore, I lost my confidence and find myself driving at 30 km/h to be able to stop in the same distance I can stop the cuore from 70 km/h.
