Agility is what needs here. If you can make your car's handling agile with that engine, than I presume it can work.

nice but there should be a drift kinda event too where you drift around that track a bit and the one with the most audience support wins.. this is to involve the crowd more haha

The suspension requirements for autocross are much different as compared to... let's say road racing on a longer track with proper straits. If the G13b khyber (i'm assuming it's a khyber) has a proper chassis with a very good setup, it could murder a Civic. It has a short wheelbase so it has the potential to be very zippy through direction changes.
