    Default DISC BRAKES

    Hi guys,

    I want to change drum brakes to disc brakes in Mazda 1500. which car has the replacment discs for it? and where can i get them in karachi.
    We have to choose either of safety or speed.

    Kindly goto Magazine Line, Plaza. Btw, it aint worth the effort, just change the brake shows.

    it has frt power assisted disc brakes and rear power assisted drum brakes

    @levin, Power assisted means same as what we call in local lingo as Booster Brakes or Brakes with Brake booster?

    @afarooqi, if its booster brakes then check the O Ring of the booster and get the braking system serviced and get new rotors(discs) for your front brakes. This might help you out...

    @levin: 1500 didnt come with disc brakes, instead it had drum & shoes.

    @charterali: brake system is running fine but drums are worn out. I wonder it didnt worth

    Somebody told me that discs from 1800 will be a bolt-on fit. is it right.
    We have to choose either of safety or speed.
