Dunlop store guy has no idea what he is talking about. Get 16 size rim with negative offset and go with 225/50/16 tires. 225=wider tire more rubber to hug the road which means more stable ride and less chances of skidding. not to mention it will look nicer with more profile. 50=taller tires with low profile 16=bigger rims Good Luck

225/50/16 is a good size, but "50=taller tires" ? 50 means the profile is less, rather at any given point on the sidewall it will be about 0.5" smaller than original tyres.. But 225 is TOO wide, and the point you made, "for better grip", is irrevelant since he's in KHI. Where is he going to make turns at 150 kmph in KHI :s?

I said its a low profile tire... perhaps you didnt read it correctly. The whole point of changing rims/tires to bigger ones are to get more traction and looks. I dont know what is irrevelant here laws of traction applies in Karachi too. I still think 225 is far better then 205. Ofcourse its my opinion and you are entitled to yours. OH and dont forget to get 16x7.5 or if you can find it 16.8 rims would be better still.
