1. The pattern is identical to Dunlop SP SPORT 490. I yesterday saw the same tyres mounted on a car, but didn't pay much attention.


2. Is it in white lettering?


3. It would really help if you had used a more descriptive title, such as new Dunlop LeMans Bb 490 for Alto.


4. It would also help if you provided these points of interest info w/o asking: place of purchase, price, datecode, level/quality of service, bargain options, free services they offered (e.g. tea, wheel balancing), other brands the stockist keeps, parking problem and any other thing you'd like to tell.


5. What were your previous tyres (brand name, model and size)? Why did you change them? How many km did you drive them? What are your observations on them? What do you think about the new ones (pros and cons)?


Unless and until 4 & 5 are present in the thread, it is useless for pretty much everybody.

3. Unfortunately title cannot be changed at this stage. Thanx 4 suggestion.
4. Purchased from Rawalpindi Cantt,
-date June 2009
-No free service offered.
-No bargains bcoz he claims to be the authorized dealer and price is fixed.
- Rs. 120/- were given to tyre changer

5. Previous tyres General XP-2000, 1-45/80-12
replaced them Bcoz there was no road grip. Wheneve i applied brakes in speed, tyre skidded.
Drove 40000 kms

You can get smuggled tyre the the cost of Rs. 2600/- or 2700/-
but if u purchase from autorized dealer then it will cost Rs. 2900/-

Sir kindly tell me the contact number or address of Umer Traders, i am in search of a reliable dealer shop to change the tyres of my SANTRO, previously I had general xp 2000, the original which come in SANTRO frm factory...

My tyre size is 165/65/R-13:
Sir also suggest me 4 wat should I go for, the choices are as under:
] Dunlop sp sport.
] Dunlop Eco.
] Dunlop Le Mans.

Hope U got the rates of above mentioned 3 tyres, I'll be very thankful to U if U'll tell me the rates also, so dat I hav an idea before going to Umer Traders.

Dear i will let you know about the contact No. of Umer Traders. Right now i dont have invoice.
I gurrantee that after replacing Genral XP 2000, you will find great difference. General's XP 2000 has no grip at all. they are hard.
You will definitely enjoy the drive after switching to Dunlop / Yokohama.
i have checked all three tyres mentioned above.

DUNLOP SP SPORT
I dont like white letter on the side wall of tyres
DUNLOP ECO
Dont like tread
DUNLOP Le Mans
Pattern of tread is same like SP Sport but i have noticed that it is Deeper that SP Sport & ECO

Another thing i have noticed that the smuggled tyres are bit cheaper but dont have any warraty.
There must be other authrized dealers of DUNLOP in Rawalpindi / Islamabad.

they all claim to be authorized, but none of them are (as far as i know)
