3k Drain Interval on an Engine which doesn't have a Oil Filter ... I don't think the buyers are dumb enough to fall for this marketing trick. The GS150 which DOES have an Oil Filter "BARELY" lasts for 3k, and we are talking about YBR.
Also, lets not forget that even AHL's oil is said to last you 2000 kms. Does it? If it can last you even 1000kms, that'd be considered a BIG DEAL (and it doesn't; trust me. If you don't use it yourself and you'll see).
So the point being; manufactures always exaggerate these things. Even if YBR is designed with 'latest tech', at best it can take is HALF of what manufacturer recommends i.e. 1500kms. If you use a high quality oil such as a Liquimoly 10W-40 (which costs like Rs.1000 per 1L bottle) ... THEN i can say that it just might last you close to 3000kms.
Anyway, 'expert' riders will know when their bike's oil is close enough for a change. And when it happens, i will be very curious to know their impressions.
