Suzuki Liana Vurv Review

The Suzuki Liana was introduced in Pakistan in mid-2006. The Liana is a sedan which is brought in the market to compete with both upper and lower levels of Honda and Toyota vehicles. How ever, the Liana couldn’t compete with its counterparts because it portrays a very odd image of itself.

Exterior:

The Liana is the first modern sedan launched by Pak Suzuki in Pakistan so that makes it quite an elegant car, much apart from Suzuki’s image. The head and tail lamps of the Liana give it a different look and the Liana has a sleek body styling too, overall, the exterior is presentable but the Liana never made it to the popular mid-sized sedan category.

Interior:

Inside the Liana, you get a combination of black-beige theme and a silver garnish on the centre console. The overall space is reasonable and the seating is comfortable but that doesn’t make it a very pleasant cabin because the layout of the interior is not very appealing but still, the Liana would carry 5 people with plenty of luggage in its boot.

Engine:

1.3l DOHC 16 Valve with 5-Speed MT

1.6l DOHC 16 Valve with 4-Speed AT

Mileage:

1.3l: 10-14km/L

1.6l: 9-14km/L

Colors:

The Liana is offered in 6 colors. Pearl Red, Graphite Grey, Solid White, Silky Silver, Sand Beige and Phoenix Red. Pearl Black and Metallic Blue have been introduced recently for a limited time.

Competitors:

Honda Civic, Honda City, Toyota Corolla XLi, Corolla GLi, Mitsubishi Lancer

Specifications:

1328cc DOHC 16 Valve which produces 92HP

1586cc DOHC 16 Valve which produces 105HP

Gearbox:

5-Speed MT

4-Speed AT

Power Steering
