0-100 Speed Test of 15 Sports Bikes in Pakistan
Team PakWheels did a 0-100 speed test on 15 sports bikes to see what they’ve got, and the results were really entertaining. Please mind that these were all used bikes, not brand new, and that’s why their 0-100 time is different from what the companies claim. Here are the bikes ranked from fastest to slowest acceleration time.
1. Suzuki GSX-R 600
The Suzuki GSX-R 600 won the experiment, achieving 100 kilometers per hour in 3.03 seconds.
2. Yamaha R1 2015
The 2015 model of Yamaha R1 got from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.07 seconds and came second in the speed test.
3. Suzuki GSX-R 1000
In the third position was the Suzuki GSX-R 1000 with the 0-100 acceleration time of 3.11 seconds.
4. Yamaha R1 2009
The 2009 model of Yamaha R1 went to 100 km/h in 3.13 seconds and came fourth.
5. Kawasaki ZX 10R
The 0-100 time for Kawasaki ZX 10R was recorded at 3.17 seconds, bringing the bike in the fifth position.
6. Kawasaki Ninja 600
Kawasaki’s other sports bike, the Ninja 600, stood next to its sibling with a 0-100 acceleration time of 3.31 seconds.
7. Honda CBR 1000
Honda CBR 1000 reached the speed of 100 km/h in 3.37 seconds and came seventh in the test.
8. BMW S1000RR
The only BMW sports bike we tested was the BMW S1000RR, and its 0-100 acceleration time was recorded at 3.43 seconds.
9. Honda Valkyrie
The most shocking 0-100 results were Honda Valkyrie’s. We did not expect the bike to reach 100 km/h in 3.59 seconds, but it did.
10. Yamaha R6
Yamaha R6 got to the speed of 100 km/h in 4.27 seconds, coming in 10th position in our test.
11. Yamaha R3 2012
The 2012 model of Yamaha R3 achieved 100 km/h acceleration in 5.11 seconds.
12. Benelli 302 R
Benelli 302 R came 12th in our test and got to 100 km/h in 5.45 seconds.
13. Benelli TNT 600i
The other Benelli bike we tested was the TNT 600i. Its 0-100 time came close to Benelli 302R at 5.51 seconds.
14, 15. Zontes 310R & 310X
We tested two Zontes sports bikes, 310R and 310X; both came last. The first one reached 100 km/h in 5.59 seconds, and the second one did in 6.45 seconds.
