Delayed Smart Cards
The issue of delay in smart card delivery has been there for the past couple of months. Several citizens applied for them, but there was a great lack of efficiency on the government’s part. These cards got delayed for several months, and citizens had almost lost hope about receiving them.
But, last month, the Excise and Taxation department tweeted that they are making progress regarding the delivery of cards and are taking steps to ensure that they are delivered to their respective owners soon.
Have you also applied for a smart card and have not received it yet? Well, stay put because it might just be around the corner! What do you think of this development? Tell us in the comments below!
